Dine & Donate Events
Our PTO organizes several dine and donate events each year. This is an easy way to raise funds, and you get an excuse to eat out! A percentage of your purchase at the participating restaurant goes to the PTO. Typically, the partner restaurant requires a copy of the flyer or you can show the flyer on your phone, so just make sure you check the description for each event.
If you have a suggestion for a dine and donate partner, please email the PTO!

Read-a-Thon
Our students participate in a read-a-thon event to encourage good reading habits and raise funds for our PTO. Students and parents can collect pledges or donations from family and friends, and the students read to earn that donation. Information is sent home via PTO e-newsletters and in packets from teachers.

Kroger Community Rewards
Our PTO has received thousands of dollars from the Kroger Community Rewards program by simply linking your Kroger Plus Cards (the same one you already use to get grocery sales and fuel points) to the Rogers/Binford PTO organization. After you link your card every purchase earns the PTO a rebate with no additional cost to you. Simply log in to your Kroger account (or create one) and click on “My Account”, then “Community Rewards”. Find Rogers-Binford PTO in the list of organizations and select it.

Box Tops
When you purchase participating grocery items that feature the Box Tops logo, you can earn money for our PTO. Download the Box Tops app, click on your profile, then click on “Manage Schools” to add Rogers or Binford (either works - both collect donations for the PTO). Then scan your receipts when you’ve purchased qualified items and the donation will automatically be sent to the PTO.

Pizza X POPs
Eat yummy local pizza and donate to our PTO! Snip off the proof of purchase (POP) on your Pizza X box and bring them to either school’s office. There is a collection bin at each school, and our dedicated volunteers will send them in to collect the prizes.

Family Picnic
The family picnic is a great chance to meet other students and families and enjoy a picnic on the playground. There is also information available about various school activities and community organizations that offer services and activities for youth. It’s a nice way to enjoy an evening outdoors with your fellow Rockets and Badgers!

Directory
Schools are a great place to build community, for kids and adults. To help our families better connect, the PTO organizes a digital directory. Families can opt to have their names and basic contact information listed in the directory, which is made available to other Rogers-Binford families. Directories are created and distributed in the fall.

Community Activities
Our school families are incredibly generous and always looking for ways to support our neighbors in need. Throughout the year, the PTO will organize activities where Rogers-Binford families can volunteer or donate to help others and support non-profit organizations in our community. Check the PTO calendar, look in the email newsletter, and follow us on social for updates on these activities.
Teacher & Staff Appreciation
Our teachers and school staff work hard and juggle many tasks to make sure our students can learn and grown in a safe and supportive environment. They teach, they care, they give it their all, every day. The PTO likes to show them the same love they show our children through appreciation activities and gifts. We host a lunch at the end of each semester, and provided treats, gift cards, or thank you notes throughout the year.
Carnival
This event is one of our biggest fundraisers, and one of the most fun! The school carnival features numerous games, activities, prizes, and food. Families purchase passes in advance or at the door, and those passes provide “punches” are redeemed for food items, games, and activities.
This is a major event for our PTO, requiring many volunteers, donations, and sponsors. Event volunteers and donations are organized a few weeks before the carnival, and information is sent from teachers or room parents, as well as the PTO e-newsletter.
